Distributive Property - Matching Activity
For grades 7, 8. This would be a great warmup or reinforcement activity to make sure that students can quickly perform the distributive property with negatives and variables. 2 versions with an answer key: Students need to find their matching pair in the class. The left hand column has the factored form and the right column has the expanded form. Teacher cuts them out and hands out 1 per student (making sure everyone has a pair).
