Experience

With experience as a Learning Support Teacher, Elementary Classroom Teacher, Team Leader, Curriculum Coach, Curriculum Specialist, Mentor, and Teaching and Learning Coordinator, I’ve been fortunate to grow through every layer of education. Each role has deepened my belief in student-centered teaching and the power of strong curriculum and collaboration. My journey has been full of meaningful moments—and I’m just as passionate today about helping students and teachers thrive as I was on day one.

Teaching style

My teaching style is all about students at the center—because every child can and will learn. I believe learning should be hands-on, motivating, and a little bit magical… with plenty of fun along the way!

My own education history

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in both Elementary and Special Education with a Master’s in Teaching Leadership and Curriculum, I’ve built my career around a passion for helping every child thrive. I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2009, and have since continued to grow as an educator with specialized training in Orton-Gillingham and a strong foundation in curriculum design and instructional leadership. Whether I’m guiding young learners, supporting diverse needs, or mentoring fellow educators, my heart is always in the classroom—and my goal is always student success.
