Additional biographical information

For the first two years after grad school I was an environmental scientist for a global consulting firm. I traveled all around the U.S. performing phase I and phase II environmental site assessments as well as historical oil and gas site clean ups. After two years of traveling and teaching many new hires how to perform the tasks we needed to complete and how to write the reports we needed to deliver, I decided to quit my consulting job and go into teaching. This is the end of my first full year teaching, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I love getting to share my knowledge of a subject and life with students every day. I look forward to teaching more environmental science/ecology/chemistry classes and plan on supplying more resources for those topics here on TPT!
