Experience

I have spent 17 years in the classroom, teaching a wide variety of learners and courses, including: General Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, AP Chemistry, General Biology and Bioethics

Teaching style

My teaching style was aimed at reaching as many learning styles and types of learners as possible. The curriculum materials available will include those items used in direct instruction, inquiry learning, lab opportunities, individual practice, group work and a wide variety of assessment tools.

My own education history

Bachelor's degree from Luther College, majoring in Biology, Psychology and Chemistry. Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from University of Iowa in Secondary Science Education.
