Data Collection, Tallying and Graphing
These worksheets will introduce your students to data collection, organizing data into column graphs and analysis of the data. Students receive a worksheet, circulate around the class asking the specified question of their peers. They record the data as a tally. They then return to their seats and use the data they have collected to create a graph. There are then some questions to answer to help with analyzing the graph. Awards & shining teacher moments
We're not big on awards in Australia but a shining moment came on my very last day of my career. A family, who had left the school three years before, arrived at my classroom door to say thank you and goodbye because they had heard I was retiring! They had taken their children out of school, driven across the city and it blew me away!
