I spent eight years in the classroom as a SPED and Title I elementary teacher, supporting students with a wide range of learning and behavioral needs. After that, I transitioned into inclusive higher education, working directly with college students with intellectual disabilities — helping build systems for independence, academic growth, and real-world success.
I now serve as the Director of Student Academic Success at the graduate level, where I support future healthcare professionals in developing strong learning strategies, self-regulation skills, and long-term academic resilience.

Teaching style
My teaching style is calm, structured, and intentionally designed to reduce overwhelm. I believe students thrive when expectations are clear, systems are predictable, and the learning environment feels safe and steady — not chaotic. I lead with warmth and encouragement, but anchor everything in organization, clarity, and practical strategies that build confidence through consistency rather than pressure.

I’m the kind of person who sleeps better knowing the dishwasher is running and the kitchen counters are clean before bed. Calm through order is my love language, whether it’s a color-coded to-do list, a quiet morning routine, or a system that keeps chaos from winning.
The name BeeKindTeaching comes from two things I care about deeply: kindness as a daily practice, and my very real dream of becoming a beekeeper one day.
