This is my sixth year of teaching. I have taught kindergarten and first grade. I would have to say first grade and the curriculum stole my heart! I also have a passion for early literacy and reading intervention. I have my Masters in Education with a focus on Reading and became a licensed Reading Specialist.

Teaching style
I would say my teaching style is to have my students actively engaged and hands on as possible. I love center based activities where students can explore, scaffold and understand objectives with one another.

My own education history
I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Worcester State University.
I received my Masters of Education from American International College where I became a licensed Reading Specialist.
