Teaching style

I believe children learn best through meaningful play, hands-on exploration, and activities that meet them right where they are. My teaching style blends early childhood best practices with developmentally appropriate strategies, all wrapped in creativity and care. I design engaging, inclusive resources that support all types of learners—especially those who benefit from visual cues, repetition, and sensory-friendly materials. With a background in early childhood education and pediatric developmental therapy, I focus on building foundational skills through confidence-boosting activities that feel like fun (but pack serious learning power!). Whether it’s circle time, small groups, or independent work, my goal is to make learning accessible, joyful, and empowering for every child.

My own education history

I have a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Mild Intervention (Special Education). My background includes experience as a lead preschool teacher, a pediatric developmental therapist, and the owner of a licensed in-home preschool in Northwest Ohio. I’ve worked closely with children of all abilities and developmental stages, and I’m passionate about creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences that support every child’s unique needs. Through BeginderBox and my printable resources, I combine hands-on learning with developmental insight to help young learners build confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for school success.

Additional biographical information

Hi, I’m [Your Name] — the heart behind BeginderBox! I’m a mom of three, an early childhood educator, and a former pediatric developmental therapist with a passion for helping little learners grow through hands-on, inclusive experiences. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Mild Intervention and currently run a state-licensed in-home preschool in Northwest Ohio. I created BeginderBox to blend purposeful learning with play, giving children (and the grown-ups who teach them) tools that are fun, meaningful, and accessible for all abilities. Whether it’s a laminated workbook, an interactive flashcard set, or a full lesson plan, everything I create is rooted in developmental best practices and a deep love for the magic of early learning. When I’m not designing educational resources, you’ll probably find me going on adventures with our kids, organizing learning materials, or dreaming up the next creative project.
