Step into the world of neuroimaging as a Brain Scan Detective! In this hands-on, investigative activity, students will work in teams to analyze a series of case studies. Each scenario will describe a different neurological or psychological condition—anything from memory loss, mood disorders, to decision-making issues. It’s up to the students to figure out which brain scan would be most useful in diagnosing the case. Learning Goals: Understand the different types of brain scans (MRI, fMRI, PET)
