This is a social story to help a child with problems eating at dinnertime. It explains in terms a small child, or a child with disabilities can understand. It talks about what is happening, what the expectations are, and what the reward is when finished. This story was made for my son when he was younger, because he would not try new foods or finish his dinner. I hope it is as successful for you as it was for me.

This is a printable Thanksgiving Social Story Placemat. After printing out the pieces, you can put it together, and then use it to teach appropriate behavior at the Thanksgiving Dinner Table. Works on skills such as waiting your turn, saying please and thank you, and even saying no thank you to something you do not like. Every year I love to teach a unit using the book "If you give a mouse a cookie." So I decided to make calendar numbers to match the unit. The students love these calendar numbers. I can also use them to reinforce number sense, counting, and ten frames. It's great! I hope your kids love them as much as mine do!

This book was hand made for a struggling reader in my class. He is just learning his sight words, but wants to be able to read books like the other students. He loves cartoons and legos, so this book was perfect. He was able to read the whole book and he loved it! I hope that your students love it just as much.

Kids love playing with dice! So here is a fun addition worksheet, that can be played with a set of dice. There are lots of fun ways to use this worksheet even if you don't have dice.
