B.A in Psychology: Dominican College
M.A Mental Health Counseling: Montclair State University
BCBA certification: Florida Institute of Technology
After completing an internship for my Masters Degree in a mental health facility which serviced children and adults on the autism spectrum, not knowing if what I was doing was effective, my mentor suggested I look into applied behavior analysis- a data driven science that encompassed all of what I've been looking to accomplish in my career goals. After graduating with my M.A in Mental Health Counseling, I moved across the country from New Jersey to Arizona to accept a job as a behavior therapist in an ABA program and begin my schooling journey to become a BCBA. Life took me back to New Jersey and I was able to finish my BCBA supervision hours with an amazing home-based private ABA company. Once a BCBA, my company allowed me to spread my wings and delve into trauma informed care, ACT, and some newer (at the time) assessments, such as PEAK. I'm forever grateful to have had this opportunity and now I'm taking the skills I've acquired in home, and bringing them into the public school system.
