We love a token economy! This evidence-based system is helpful for students who have difficulty staying on task or needs more immediate reinforcement. Token economies allow you to reward behaviors without disruptions in your classroom or break down behaviors into manageable steps and reward those. For example, give a token for each math problem your student completes and once they get five tokens, they can listen to two minutes of music. Or in the home, give a token for each step of the morning
When do we need duration data? Duration data tells us how long a behavior lasts. We measure when a behavior starts by starting a timer, and when a behavior ends by stopping a timer. It's easy and fast. This data sheets provides 15 opportunities to collect data in each chart. Feel free to combine them or make changes to fit your needs!
