When do we need duration data? Duration data tells us how long a behavior lasts. We measure when a behavior starts by starting a timer, and when a behavior ends by stopping a timer. It's easy and fast. This data sheets provides 15 opportunities to collect data in each chart. Feel free to combine them or make changes to fit your needs!
Token systems are a great way to teach on-task behavior, increase independence and teach acceptance of delayed reinforcement. This token system allows the student to earn 3 or 5 tokens before exchanging them for their chosen reinforcer. Comes with 2 different styles of tokens!
Here are some fall-themed first/then charts for your home or classroom. They can help you break down tasks and show clearly the task required and the reinforcer. They are all different sizes and shapes. They are in Word format so you can change the size if needed!
We love almost all ABC data collection sheets, but this one...even more! It includes a column to list antecedents-behaviors-consequences AND the response to consequence which can be VERY helpful in determining the function!
This type of data collection is one that you look at when you are interested in the time a behavior happens. The data collection system gives you a visual analysis of the pattern of behavior.
Are you taking data? We hope so! Rate tells us how often a behavior occurs in a set period of time. This is useful when behaviors have a clear beginning and end. 6 time outs called per game 2 broken bones per hockey game3 parking tickets per yearEven if you think you will remember the numbers RECORD IT ANYWAY!
