I have taught Math 6, Math 6/7, and Math 7 Special Education.
Teaching style
In my classroom, I teach through a modified flipped classroom model. Students participate in watching teacher-created video lessons. After each lesson students complete a formative assessment and review independently or in small groups with the teacher. Then students begin working on math workshop stations. These stations provide a variety of activities that create a fun and exciting learning environment that fits each student's needs and interests. I am ALWAYS looking for new ideas that present concepts to my students in a fun and exciting way!
