Integers and Order of Operations Card Stack Activity
This self-checking activity works well in small groups and can be used to reinforce operations with integers (with extra brackets) and order of operations (BEDMAS/PEMDAS). I use it as a review of essential skills in my MPM2D Ontario Math course.
8th - 10th

Grid Game - Elapsed Time
Using both a numbered die and lettered die, students play in groups of 2-3 to solve elapsed time questions, using times in 15-minute intervals.
