After receiving my ECE from Northern Virginia Community College, I attended the Association Montessori Internationale training in Palo Alto, California. This course was given by Dr. Lena Wikramaratne. Miss Lena was trained and worked beside Dr. Montessori and her son, Mario, while Dr. Montessori was in India.
I retired in May, 2017, after almost 40 years as a Primary guide. I have always enjoyed making materials , so TPT was a good fit for me. Sadly, as I get older, I find that I cannot produce as much as I used to, but I still think of something new occasionally. Take the time to enjoy your students as time passes way too quickly!

Multiplication Tables of Combinations Booklets - Large Size - Montessori Math
UPDATED When I made these larger sized booklets, it was in response to a specific need I found in my own classroom. Most of the booklets I had were just too small. Many of my children were still developing those writing skills needed and while we were working on this I felt they needed that obstacle removed from this work. The pages measure approximately 3 1/2 x 7 1/2. There are gray lined spaces for the children to record their answers I hope that you will find these helpful and thanks so

Subtraction Tables of Combinations Booklets - Large Size - Montessori Math
When I made these larger sized booklets, it was in response to a specific need I found in my own classroom. Most of the booklets I had were just too small. Many of my children were still developing those writing skills needed and while we were working on this I felt they needed that obstacle removed from this work.

This "wheel" format is a popular alternative way to record the tables of combinations. In the Montessori classroom, you can use these for the Addition Strip Board, Colored Bead Addition and the Charts. And of course you can always use other countable objects like stones. There are two sets included. The first is the tables in order and the second is mixed. Wheels with blank centers can be used with children providing the first addend, by throwing a die or just thinking of a table to practice

These are traditional Division Board tables, but could be used with other material as well. Awards & shining teacher moments
I'm most proud of the years I spent in my beautiful Montessori Children's House of Aloha in Oregon. I purchased a house built in the 1950's that had beautiful, low windows and a french door that led to an enormous, natural backyard with an enormous oak tree, wooden deck, garden and invitations to play at the back of the yard. So many children passed through those doors, all grown up now. So many beautiful memories!
