This wood shop safety manual was put together to help me teach safety rules and tips for my cabinet making class. I have spent many hours over the years perfecting this. I use these lesson plans to teach my students the various tools in my wood shop or cabinet making course. In this set of plans I have the students going through the machines while building a bookcase. These plans list essential questions the students should be able to answer by the end. It also shows how to incorporate technology into the lesson. The activities in this set of plans usually last me 2-3 weeks depending on the number of students I have and the limited supply of tools.

This is used to grade student's on their soft skills. It also has a space for students to self evaluate. This is also included in my Woodworking & Safety Manual.

This safety contract is used for my woodworking lab. However, it can be tweaked to be used in many lab areas. This is not a legally binding document. But help communicate your expectations to students and parents as well as an artifact for this.
