About the store
For over 10 years I've worked in education as a curriculum developer, tutor, teaching assistant, and mentor. Originally, I started out as an electrical engineer specialized in power electronics for solar energy. After a few years exploring various careers I discovered how fulfilling it is to work with students. My most recent role was being an after school robotics instructor and curriculum developer for two years (2017-2018). Prior to that I was a private English teacher for over two (2014-2016). I've worked with students from as young as 6 years old to adults in their 40s. I'm a global citizen as I've lived in the US, Canada, Mexico, Spain and Switzerland. This means that I'm able to connect well with students from around the world, also it means I speak English, German, and Spanish. Currently, I'm the founder of www.ThriveSDG.com which empowers high school students to find their purpose and develop life skills by solving problems alligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Teaching style

What's truly important to me is that students find the joy in learning. Once students rediscover their natural curiosity to learn they will succeed in and beyond school. Thanks to over four years of experience crafting learning content and experiences I've learned the art of making learning fun and engaging. As a tutor I also try to support students connect their learning to the real-world and ultimately discover themselves.
