The units of study from Teachers' College are wonderful. These assessments are designed to be used with each unit of the first grade curriculum. They are helpful in understanding how well students are applying concepts taught and work great for making small groups from. This is a great game for students to practice their addition skills. Using a deck of cards students try to get to as close to a target number as possible by deciding if they will keep or discard the number as it is drawn. There can be multiple versions of this game played to meet your needs.
