Pi Day Activities My students worked in teams to answer all 10 questions. The first team in each class won a prize. This could also be done as a school wide activity to celebrate Pi day.

The students practice finding the area and perimeter of different sports fields, like a basketball court.

This is a real world application problem that involves solving a system of equations. Students write equations of lines and graph those lines. There is also a writing component to this activity.
