This is an individual student progress checklist for 4th grade common core math standards. It lists an abbreviated version of each of the math standards with spaces for filling in three separate summative assessments. (I intend to include the date, score, and standards based grading letter.) If is designed to be used one page per student. The Excel version is editable. This is the first year I have used this form, so I would welcome suggestions for improving it.
This spelling contract/worksheet includes five open-ended activities for using your students' names as spelling words. This is a great spelling activity for before Valentine's Day when students will be writing classmates' names on Valentine cards. I only make my 4th graders learn to spell their classmates' first names.
These paddles are for online students, to facilitate student participation and rapid responses in zoom meetings, google meet-ups, etc. For each paddle, I cut two circles from colored posterboard with an Ellison 4" circle die cutter and glued them together with white glue, inserting a wooden craft stick between the circles. Then I copied the attached pages onto colored cardstock and cut them out with a 3" circle punch cutter. I glued these on either side of the paddle circles with rubber cement
The Dead Word Cemetary poster brings to students' attention words which are never correct in the standard English language. Students remind one another when someone says a word on the poster. Poster is formatted to print on a 12 x 18 sheet of paper.
