Experience
I've been teaching adult ESL and ABE since 2002. I have taught all levels, nationalities, and ages of adult learners whose native language is one other than English.
Teaching style
I do a combination of direct instruction and guided activities to help students discover things on their own. I believe all students have the capacity to learn, and my job is to help them tap into their own unique learning styles.
My own education history
I have a BA in Psychology (with a minor in English) from East Carolina University, and I have an MA in TESOL from New York University.
