My families are often looking for ideas on how to create more communication opportunities in their daily routines. We've brainstormed some for getting dressed, mealtime, bathtime, and bedtime to get parents started and then included an "Your Own Routine" section for parents to fill out once they start getting a feel for what these can look like in daily routines.

April 2020 Emergent Communicator Home Program Calendar

With all the school closures, I have been looking for resources for home programming for those on my caseload. Since I was having some difficulty locating a calendar with activities for the emergent communicators on my caseload, I decided to create one for the month of April. Each day has one activity that could be done at home with a focus on core words. The document should be fully editable if you would like to change any of the wording or activities, and I will be adding to it as time passes.
