Experience

Four years in fourth grade at a small Title I school in Raeford, North Carolina. Two years in third grade at a large school in Virginia Beach, VA. I have experience in Gifted classrooms as well as Inclusion classrooms. All my experience includes teaching all subject areas.

Teaching style

I'm embracing the 21st Century learner, becoming more of a facilitator and letting my students do the leading in the classroom. I LOVE Whole Brain Teaching!

My own education history

Completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Norwich University. I also received my Master's degree in Elementary Education with a focus on literacy from Kaplan University.
