About the store
I created this store as a way to provide curriculum-based materials for SLPs and teachers to use in their therapy rooms and classrooms. My goal is to provide the visuals and language supports that don't always come with generic curriculum-based materials. These materials make the curriculum accessible for students with language impairments, attention difficulties, and also for students who are learning English as a second language. I want to support SLPs in going beyond their speech rooms to support teachers in scaffolding students by providing visuals, appropriate language-level materials, and explicit vocabulary instruction.

Wit and Wisdom Kindergarten Module 1 Communication Board
This themed communication board contains vocabulary that spans across all texts in module one of Wit and Wisdom. This can be used with students who are minimally verbal, have attention issues, and/or with EL students. SLPs can use them in language therapy sessions and share them with classroom teachers as a way to assist students in accessing the text and increasing their participation in the classroom.

Teaching style
I currently work in two elementary schools with fantastic teachers who are always willing to collaborate and use visuals in their classrooms to support student's language skills. I love making functional, curriculum-based materials and wanted to use this store as a way to share what I've made!
My own education history
I received my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida State University.
