This recipe sheet goes along with Vincent Chen's "Hot Pot Night!" A great way to discuss thankfulness, diverse foods and sharing meals. I love doing this one prior to Thanksgiving break and it's a big hit. Students will make their own shopping list for their ideal hot pot. Great activity to do before making a classroom meal.

Back In The Day: SEL, Homeroom or Advisory Game This game was originally created by me as a baby shower game when my niece was about to be born! I love to do this with my students at the end of the year. Once we learn about how plants grow, we decorate our own pots, plant our own sunflower seeds and take these home. Believe it or not, I have received updates from former students in the fall to tell me that their sunflower grew! There are 3 poems to a page for the grades Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten. Works great for any of those grade levels. Supply a stick for each poem, I highly recommend laminating them, and displa

A simple morning activity that only takes a couple of minutes to do as a whole class. This can be used for any students but is ideal for those in Pre-K- 1st grade. Download is a PDF that includes "Number of the Day" printable signs for each grade level, to be placed o
