This is a worksheet with boxes of various types of shapes. Students are asked to color a certain amount of shapes (not all of the shapes of that type, only what is asked). Then, students must fill in the blank in which they find the total number of a couple of different shapes. This worksheet can be adapted to fit your needs in order to change the rigor and relevance for your class. Teaching style

We teach the standards and curriculum, but the children do most of the work. We use interactive technology to teach lessons, but we make the students responsible for their learning by providing them with lots of practice opportunities. We believe in providing students with immediate feedback about what they are doing right and wrong so they can correct it at that moment.
