My teaching style is bilingual, bicultural, and brain-friendly — grounded in the belief that every child’s voice and identity matter. I teach through a trauma-informed lens, using low-prep, high-impact routines that make space for both academic growth and emotional safety.
I design learning experiences that reflect the realities of living between languages and cultures, especially for CLD and SPED students. My classroom is built on trust, community, and joyful structure. I lean on the Science of Reading, AVID strategies, and project-based learning — all while centering families, cultura, and belonging.
You’ll see me modeling self-reflection, uplifting multilingual voices, and turning everyday routines into meaningful rituals that connect home and school.
