This is a Spanish sub plan for the book, "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus."
It is to be used with the Spanish version of the book, and would be great for about an hour or two of the day for your substitute. You know your class best to estimate how long they will need for this packet.
This is a sub plan that you can use in your Spanish or Bilingual class. It goes with the book ¡La paloma encuentra un perro caliente!
I have used this with great success in my classroom, and you can use it in tandem with the book, ¡No dejes que la paloma conduce el autobus!
Important ** It is assumed that the kids have already read ¡No dejes que la paloma conduce el autobus! and one of the questions asks them to compare and contrast the two books.
These labels are the Gomez and Gomez first grade labels. I used the words suggested by Gomez and Gomez and put them into a cute format to increase the kids' interest.
These would be useful for a bilingual classroom, or for a Spanish classroom.
You will have to add accents by hand to some of the words, because the font I used did not allow Spanish accents.
Enjoy!
I created these cute polka dot classroom labels to go with my language of the day sign and Spanish classroom labels. They will brighten up your classroom!
Here is a cute language of the day sign for your classroom! It matches the labels I have made for the class.
You will have to add the accent on día and español with a sharpie. I did it and you can't tell the difference!
Thanks!
