BACK TO School Math Review
Back to school is right around the corner, and what better way to test your students skills than with these task cards. Assessing your students in the first few weeks of school is critical. I have created math task cards at different levels. These task cards are aimed for students in on grade level 2/3rd grade or below level 4th grade.

Students will be engaged as they search through local supermarket flyers, writing down their grocery list, and calculating how much money will be spent for Thanksgiving dinner.
It's a very exciting to see students so motivated to learn.

Christmas Math Review with QR Codes
Christmas break is right around the corner, and it can be hard finding activities that are engaging and rigorous. Look no further. I have created math task cards that are rigorous and a great way to end before holiday break. The students can self check their work with QR codes. Use these activity cards as a scoot game, center ideas, or do a few a day until Christmas break.

Experience
I have had the privilege to teach in a bilingual setting for the past 10 years. I absolutely love my job, and now I am learning how to finally put my personal touch on my created material. I have taught Kinder, Second, and Fourth Grade.
Teaching style
In my classroom there is never a dull moment. I try to keep my students extremely engaged at all times. In my opinion, hands on learning is key to student success. Many times it has been difficult to find bilingual material as opposed to English, but as my campus transitions into Dual Language I will need to start my translating of all my material. I'm excited to start the journey into Dual Language. To my benefit, this will be the second year of being in a digital class setting. Therefore, my students have many options, and opportunities to learn.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I am one of one-hundred-fifty teachers in our district with a digital classroom; to me that is a very big honor. I also serve as a Common Sense Media Educator, and write reviews for apps, and websites. The biggest and best reward of all is being a mommy to my two beautiful daughters.

I graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas in 2004
Additional biographical information
I moved back home to the Rio Grande Valley in 2005 and married the Love of my life in 2006. I have dedicated my life to serving Christ, and I know that everything else will fall into place.
