Bilingual4ever

I have had the privilege to teach in a bilingual setting for the past 10 years. I absolutely love my job, and now I am learning how to finally put my personal touch on my created material. I have taught Kinder, Second, and Fourth Grade.

In my classroom there is never a dull moment. I try to keep my students extremely engaged at all times. In my opinion, hands on learning is key to student success. Many times it has been difficult to find bilingual material as opposed to English, but as my campus transitions into Dual Language I will need to start my translating of all my material. I'm excited to start the journey into Dual Language. To my benefit, this will be the second year of being in a digital class setting. Therefore, my students have many options, and opportunities to learn.

I am one of one-hundred-fifty teachers in our district with a digital classroom; to me that is a very big honor. I also serve as a Common Sense Media Educator, and write reviews for apps, and websites. The biggest and best reward of all is being a mommy to my two beautiful daughters.

I graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas in 2004

I moved back home to the Rio Grande Valley in 2005 and married the Love of my life in 2006. I have dedicated my life to serving Christ, and I know that everything else will fall into place. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all His righteousness will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
