I have been teaching science for 21 years including Biology, Zoology, Biology 2, Anatomy and Physiology and Earth Science.

Teaching style

When teaching I enjoy using a variety of methods including group activities, labs, skill and content practice, notes, and research.

Awards & shining teacher moments

While I am proud of my two high school teacher of the year awards, the district teacher of the year award and my two time National Board Certification my best "awards" are the comments from students about how much I have helped them, seeing former students and sharing a memory or laugh, and those daily ahha moments of success.
