A great intro activity for the first few days of Geology OR your Earth Science unit. There are 18 total prefixes (Geo- & -logy already have clipart). Students will each get a prefix or suffix related to Geology and create a drawing to go with it. This creates a great student-created display for your classroom that you can refer to all year/unit long as you come across these words.
Students can use this sheet to label and describe the structures of the ear. Labels spaces to label include the sound waves, pinna, ossicles, semicircular canals, oval window, vestibulocochlear nerve, cochlea, Eustachian tube, tympanic membrane/eardrum, and the auditory canal.
