I have been teaching science to middle school students since 2005. I primarily work in 7th grade life science, but I've taught chemistry, earth and space science, and physical science. I've taught ELA for a few years as well.

Metric Conversions Pixel Art - BABY YODA
Metric Conversions have never been more fun than when you get to practice them with Baby Yoda/The Child/Grogu! Pixel art is a great self-checking way to practice any content, so I decided to offer this to my students this year. They LOVED it! This has 15 problems involving mass, length, and volume that need to be converted. As students complete the questions correctly the cell changes color and fills in parts of their drawing. I believe in making science fun and engaging. If I can spark true interest and activate their imagination, my teaching can extend beyond the classroom.
