Thanks for stopping by our store. Bison Discovery is a combination of two sisters. The wide variety of products in our store is a result of our teaching experience.

With 29 years of teaching under my belt I have taught nearly every grade and subject. The last years of my career I've taught mostly high school biology. I have also taught biology, nutrition and anatomy at several community colleges.

Chromosomes
The Chromosomes content covers the structure and function of a chromosome, the different types of chromosomes, and genomes. In my classroom I use the teacher slides as a traditional lecture and then have students do the worksheet after the lecture. On the next day I would have them do the mind map and then take the quiz. If you want to change things up you could assign the student slides and Cornell notes, as a flipped assignment, and then give the lecture the second day. The student slides have

Lori:
I absolutely love science. I want my students to leave my class loving science just like I did. I build strong relationships and provide a stable environment so that students know what to expect. Science literacy is so important in our world. This is my way of contributing to that effort.

I have served on many district and state committees developing science curriculum and aligning standards to standardized tests.

I have a bachelors in Elementary Education with a Middle School Math and Science endorsement.
I have masters degrees in Instructional Technology and Biology.
