Hello! I have completed my 21st year of teaching. I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary and LBD Special Education. I went on to complete my Masters in Education and then on to get my National Boards in Literacy. I have taught the Kindergarten through 5th grade with most of my time in the primary levels. My heart resides with all things literacy, but I have learned that best strategies cover all of the areas of teaching!

Teaching style
I have a balanced literacy approach in my classroom while I continue to learn the science reading as well. I was a Literacy Interventionist for 7 years and have used that knowledge to help grow my third graders in my most recent position.
