I’m a dedicated social worker with over a decade of experience in various fields, including child welfare, medical social work, mental health, and education. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2019 and hold degrees in Behavioral & Social Sciences, Social Work (BSW, MSW), and a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) as of 2025. My journey also includes teaching in a non-public school for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Emotional Disturbance (ED) diagnoses, as well as homeschooling my own Autistic son for three years. Teaching style

My teaching approach emphasizes clear communication, inclusivity, and mental health awareness. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and understood. My resources are designed to be accessible, engaging, and tailored to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special needs. Whether in the classroom or in therapy, I strive to provide tools that foster emotional intelligence, resilience, and a sense of community.

My own education history

I hold an Associate of Arts in Behavioral & Social Sciences, a Bachelor of Social Work, and a Master of Social Work. I became an LCSW in 2019 and am currently a DSW student. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, social systems, and effective therapeutic interventions, which I integrate into the resources I create.

Additional biographical information

Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about animals, community theater, singing, and writing. I enjoy reading, crocheting, and coloring, and these creative outlets inspire many of the resources I develop. As a parent of two Autistic children, I bring a personal perspective to the importance of supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning materials.
