Teaching style

At Blackboard Boutique, my teaching style is rooted in the belief that students learn best when they are given multiple pathways to success. I design resources that bridge the gap between high-interest engagement and rigorous foundational skills. My activities frequently incorporate a mix of hands-on manipulation, sensory-rich tasks, and traditional reading and writing to ensure every learner—regardless of their starting point—can access the curriculum. My ultimate goal is to foster student independence. By building in clear structures for accountability and ownership, I empower students to take charge of their learning within a fun, welcoming atmosphere where they feel safe to take risks and grow.
