I have taught private lesson for over 15 years. I hold a SC state Teaching Certificate as a Music Educator and have obtained a Bachelors degree in Music with a concentration in instrumental and vocal pedagogy. I have taught all grade levels in my time as an in-school music educator and in my current role I am teaching grade levels PK-2nd grade.

Teaching style

I can not stress how important is for me to allow my students to see me do what I am expecting them to do. I use gradual release of responsibility more than I probably should but in music I feel it is the best way to allow students to not only be hands on but to see their teacher doing exacly what they want them to do. Modeling you could say. "I do, we do, you do"
