About the store
I have spent more than 8 years working with young children in public and private school settings, both as a teacher and administrator, most recently working as an Early Childhood Administrator. I have seen the necessity for additional support and the benefits of one-one-one support, which is why I recently launched my company, Blooming Minds Tutoring.

About the store

Experience

I have spent more than 8 years working with young children in public and private school settings, both as a teacher and administrator, most recently working as an Early Childhood Administrator. I have seen the necessity for additional support and the benefits of one-one-one support, which is why I recently launched my company, Blooming Minds Tutoring.

Teaching style

My teaching is designed using a hands-on approach to learning where children learn by doing. I incorporate movement and tactile experiences into our learning to allow students to make connections with the material and the world around us. This is great for all types of learners! We practice the gradual release model, "I do. We do. You do." What does this mean? First, the teacher models the task and writes the letter A, for example. Then, the teacher and child complete the task together. Finally, the child practices independently. This allows the child to grow academically while gaining their own self-confidence. Simple and effective!
