Experience

Teaching style

As a substitute teacher, my approach focuses on consistency, structure, and encouragement. I believe that even when the classroom teacher is away, students deserve a positive and productive learning environment. I prioritize clear expectations, supportive guidance, and keeping students engaged in meaningful activities. My experience stepping into many different classrooms has helped me develop adaptable strategies that support teachers' plans while maintaining a calm and organized classroom atmosphere.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing the impact we have in students. Some of my proudest teaching moments include helping students gain confidence in their abilities, supporting classrooms that needed extra stability and receiving positive feedback from students, teachers and administration about the support I provide. Whether its helping a student finally understand a concept, stepping in during a challenging day, or creating resources that make a teacher's job easier, those moments remind me of why I love being in the classroom.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Pursuing a master's and currently in the process of receiving my official teaching license.
