Personal Portfolio -- Job Search
This personal portfolio should set students up with everything they need to apply for a job. By the end, they should have a resume, cover letter, an elevator pitch, an appropriate photo for a profile picture, and references. They also will participate in a mock interview and practice professional communication. This is a multimedia activity and will require students to write, take photos, record audio, and record video. I have included my suggested rubrics as well.

Additional biographical information
My approach to curriculum is rooted in a diverse career across the K-12 spectrum. I began my journey in a 4th-grade classroom before spending 7 years teaching 8th–12th grade English in a traditional in-person setting. During that time, I specialized in curriculum writing, developing structured systems to improve student outcomes.
I have extensive experience in co-teaching reading at the middle and elementary levels, as well as time spent in classrooms ranging from pre-school to high school. I have also worked as a High School English teacher in an online environment, allowing me to stay at the forefront of digital literacy and modern instructional technology.
I recently transitioned from the classroom to working as a Business and Quality Analyst.
