Awards & shining teacher moments

TECHNOLOGY: Creating our i-science jr.® collection has been exciting and challenging. Technology is a revolving door and there are no standards between users. We have chosen to build our products in Adobe Flash which offers the most flexibilities in creating educational and truly interactive ebooks. This means that our products run fine on nearly all desktops, Mac and PC. They can run through the native app, "Flash Player", or we also supply a browser version that you can run through any web browser. We are currently testing HTML book development and have created several titles but there are limitations in the design since the technology is just not there. If you are looking for mobile programs, most Android tablets have built in Flash Player so there is not a problem, yet. Apple has refused to allow Flash programs to run on their devices but there are several work-arounds. Our favorite is a flash player app called Photon. It is available through the Apple app store. If this still does not help you, we can make available to you our standard ebooks as PDFs which are still the industry standard. We also have actual Android apps available for most of our books but this is a work in progress. (Contact us for this information). We are well versed in technology and can be of assistance if you have any questions. PLEASE NOTE: All of our titles work great on Interactive White Boards.
