A lab showing the importance of measuring using metrics, diagramming precisely, and reinforcing how to write a question and hypothesis called the Mr. Peanut Activity. I provide about 25 peanuts to the class and in groups of 4 they select a peanut from the bunch. They name their peanut, measure their peanut, and diagram their peanut. After they are complete with that part of the activity, I take all of their peanuts and put them back in the tub with all 25 peanuts and they have to find their p
