Students review the preterite vs. imperfect past tenses of Spanish via an interactive reading activity where they must put clues in chronological order based on a dramatic story line. Then, students must answer comprehension questions about the story that guide them to use the two past tenses simultaneously in context.
This interactive activity allows students to explore cultural nuances of the following Spanish-speaking countries (México, Perú, Colombia, Cuba, Argentina y Espana) through engaging riddles, puzzles, and visual clues via a group-based poster activity.
