I am currently develop curriculum work with k-12 teachers as an Instructional Coach in several schools in NYC. Prior to this I worked as a national school consultant working with school districts on curriculum development and best pedagogical practices. Previous work experience includes teaching in east Harlem , and school leadership roles in middle and high schools in DC and Ohio.

I write my lessons to facilitate student engagement, positive interdependence, individual accountability, equal participation , and student voice. I challenge keeners to make meaning ad develop their own conclusions about essential questions.

Additional biographical information
In addition to my current position as instructional coach I am the Founder of a nonprofit ( status pending) mentoring adolescents to become positive members of the community through martial arts and personal development training. Partial proceeds from sales go to the organization.
