Previous work experience includes teaching in east Harlem , and school leadership roles in middle and high schools in DC and Ohio.
This is a phenomenal tool to collaboratively or individually write lesson plans. Each component of the lesson plan is addressed and described in detail. Teachers in schools across the US have found value in creating the Gourmet lesson plan and draw form their own work as exemplars to enhance lesson plans used in the past, or in planning for the future.
This is a fantastic tool for self reflection for teachers and/or observations for instructional coaches and administrators.
The tool allows all staff to use a common vocabulary and clearly defines the necessary components in learning objectives.
I have used this tool with teachers, instructional coaches and administrators in multiple school districts across the USA.
Key components include sections on student relevance, success criteria and defining your formative assessment.

I write my lessons to facilitate student engagement, positive interdependence, individual accountability, equal participation , and student voice. I challenge keeners to make meaning ad develop their own conclusions about essential questions.

Additional biographical information
In addition to my current position as instructional coach I am the Founder of a nonprofit ( status pending) mentoring adolescents to become positive members of the community through martial arts and personal development training. Partial proceeds from sales go to the organization.
