We understand that language is a means to learn more about other cultures, people, and even ourselves.

Additional biographical information

We are Ayelén and Luciana from Buenos Aires, Argentina. We are graduate teachers with more than 10 years of experience teaching English and Literature. Despite having studied at different colleges, work brought us together and we met while working at primary school. We became friends quite fast because we both love teaching and we share a passion for making our classes fun, inspiring and challenging for our students. We understand that language is a means to learn more about other cultures, people, and even ourselves. During the time we worked together, we shared staff rooms, colleagues, mentors and our love for teaching and literature. As it turned out, we also have gathered experience in secondary school. We have been growing as professionals ever since, and in one or our many talks we happened to agree that teaching can be quite an isolating career and at times one might feel lonely. Therefore, we started discussing possible ways in which we could share our knowledge and experience with other teachers, to inspire, help and encourage each other. Moreover, to remind us that teaching is one of the most selfless yet necessary professions. We firmly believe that we need to create a strong network among teachers, that sharing and mentoring are at the core of our job, all of which takes a fearless and daring attitude. The idea of Bold Teaching stems from these principles. We hope that our material reflects these values and that you can appreciate and profit from them.
