Kid Friendly I Can Learning Targets (Pocket Chart)
I have a learning target pocket chart at the front of my classroom. I printed, laminated and cut these target posters. I switch out the posters for Reading, Writing, Phonics, Math, and Listening & Learning as needed.

I printed these on Avery #8460 Address Labels and placed them on file folders. I organized my resources for each learning standard/unit/module using these folders in a filing cabinet.

Teaching style
My instruction focuses on the learning process in which I pose questions that invite higher-level thinking, problem solving, and self-assessment. I foster an environment in which students are actively involved in their learning and encouraged to collaborate with peers. My student-centered approach involves student choice and students' interests/multiple intelligences.
