Students use tracking sheets and a grocery store menu to purchase items using $20.00. Students subtract each product's dollar amount from the previous balance to practice their vertical subtraction with regrouping.

Using Skittles (any amount), students create a theoretical probability model, make predictions, and find compound probability of randomly choosing two skittles, both with replacing and without.
