Computation Practice Packet-Basic Skills 7th Grade
This packet includes 40 pages of basic skills that are included on the 7th grade AIMS COMP testing. Each page has 20 problems for student practice, with room to show work and answers. I use this product by printing out individual packets for each student to work on for sets of time throughout each week, and correcting them weekly. I am a licensed teacher who is deeply passionate about education and developing the whole student. In my free-time, I am fulfilling my desire to create and plan by making new products for my TPT store!
Teaching style
I strongly believe in 'Teaching Why'. I teach and reinforce concepts by asking students how they reach an answer and why the answer is appropriate. I like to incorporate hands-on activities into my plug and chug practice for students to use what they learn in real-world settings.
My own education history
I am licensed in Elementary Educations and Middle School Math, and have a Masters degree in Education Psychology.
Additional biographical information
I believe that mathematics, and more specifically, problem-solving, is the key to success in life! I strive to make learning and practicing math fun, creative, and relevant for my students. I also create interdisciplinary activities to help students use problem-solving skills in all areas of learning, and life.
